I have entered the digital age
In fact, i’ve been here for quite some time but without some necessary equipment: a digital camera.
I’m not quite sure how I’ve managed without one. I already have a Flickr account (have had for years), and somehow I’ve managed to put photos on it through hook ups from trusty friends, but I’ve never had photos to call my own.
Well, that’s all changed now. On the weekend I purchased myself a lovely new Panasonic Luxmix LX2 (but in Black, cause that’s De Riguer for a designer). The guy at the shop chucked in a free 512mb card and a carry bag, so I saved myself around 80 bucks. Not bad.
It takes lovely pictures. Well, appreantly it does, but I’ve yet to really master all the settings. I can’t wait to get back into taking pictures though. I’ve just bumped up my Flickr membership to ‘pro’ as well, so I can now upload lots of photo goodness too.
