I’m growing a beard
If you hadn’t noticed on my last posts at Flickr, i’m growing a beard. Up until today I hadn’t actually decided to grow one… i just hadn’t shaved, but today I made a conscious decision to let things go.
I’ve been reading up on the net about the best way to do this, and it seems it’s not really rocket science. You just do nothing. Really. No shaving for a few weeks (or months) is all it takes. Once it gets to half an inch long then you can think about trimming. I’ve already given it a little trim on the chin, but i think i’ll just leave it to do its thing now. Will keep shaving my neck, as leaving your wiskers growing there is the equivalanet of bum-fluff on the back of the neck - it just shouldn’t be there!
So, I hope to keep up with some regular posts showing my progress. It could take a while though as my facial hair has never been terribly speedy in growing!

I would join you but us non-creative corporate types must do our best to look the part. Plus mine just goes all ginga and nasty after more than a week… :)
