Tis almost time
This time next week I’ll be heading off on my first big overseas trip to South East Asia. My sister and I, and couple of friends are heading from New Zealand to Thailand, Cambodia and finally Vietnam. All I know of those palces is what the lonely planet (my #2 Bible) has told me, anecdotal stuff from friends, and whatever remains from my 5-7th form geography years.
I’m full of mixed emotions about the the whole thing, but most of them are all good. I’ll be cracking into my anti-malaria tablets tonight, packing the bags on the weekend, probably do a bit of last minute stressing, and then get set for what’s sure to be 3.5 weeks of fun-filled, out-of-my-comfort-zone adventure. I’m sure we’ll have our bad times, but that comes with the territory.
