Here's some highlights from our trip

It's almost time to leave. The last few days we've been up in Halong Bay which is up in the north of Vietnam. They have some cool rock formations that are a cross between the Marlborough Sounds and the Coromandel. We're now in Vietnam, after a pleasant border crossing and a reasonably uncomfortable 6 hour bus trip. Six hours seems like an eternity when traveling around New Zealand, but over here the time flys by, and I find myself in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) City. I have to say, out of Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam, Vietnam is my favorite place so far, with Thailand coming in a close second. ...

And if your brother only has 7 then it's quite likely he's going to get handed some gear!
