Is when your laptop battery dies and you have to revert to taking notes with pen and paper.
Highlights: Prototyping in flash, a visually impared guy talking about how he uses a screen reader to browse the net, no-one uses acccess keys (hardly), ruby on rails sounds interesting but hard, and the feijoa ice-cream is nice.
More to come when I juice up my battery!

Just sat through a great talk from Doug. Nothing terribly new here, but good to have the way that I work in terms of xHTML and CSS confirmed.
Morning tea was nice. I got a tshirt from DNA, and my photo taken with my quote about what Freedom is.
Joel Spolsky speaking now - quite funny.

Webstock's here! I think we start at 9am, so about 20 minutes to go. I feel like such a geek sitting here on the laptop, but then again - every second person is too, so it's ok. I'm sure i'll be used to it by the end of day. Now only if my laptop battery will last last the day i'll be a happy man.
More to come

Only two days to go till the webstock conference - can't wait! It's gonna be a great time of meeting new peeps, and listening to some great speakers.
Will post more here about the goings on and my thoughts over the two days.
Bring it on

Well, it's not like I have to travel far...
Webstock is coming to Wellington in May this year, and lucky me I've scored myself a ticket via their scholarships. I'm fully stoked to be able to go, so thanks to the guys organising this conference for making the scholarships possible.
Looking forward to hearing what Douglas Bowman has to say, as well as Russel Brown and few others. Never heard ...
